Challenge - Yellow

The designteam of Papirgleder have this thing going on to make things in different colours. This time I had to scrap a layout which was yellow. And OMG what a challenge for me! I don't think I've ever made a layout with more than a little bit yellow. Well, I gave it a shot and here is the result. You can see the article here (it's in norwegian).
I'm heading for Bergen to meet the other designers of Papirgleder in a couple of hours. Almost can't wait!! Well, have to start packing now, so bye bye!! :)

More than words

Another article at ScrappeHuset! This time we have highlighted the norwegian scrapbooker Cathrine Angelica. She is a brilliant scrapbooker who gave us a challenge to make a vintagelayout with flowers and a songtitle as title. I chose the song "more than words" of extreme because it's always been one of my favourites.
The paper is from Prima, thickers (again!) from American Crafts, flowers, tag from panduro and MM mini alphas.

~ Love ~

Yea I made this for challenge #35 at One Little Word, and this time the word is, as you can see, LOVE. I finally got these beautiful big prima flowers from e-bay. Have been waiting for them a really long time, almost thought they'd never come. But finally they showed up in my mailbox.

The paper in the back is from Prima, but the round one I've cut out of an K&Company paper. The note-paper is from Hambly. I've also used some embellishment from Melissa Frances (white flowers an glitter-heart), 7gypsies wax and seals; LOVE, a tag from panduro, thickers from American Crafts (Platforms), Rub Ons from 7gypsies, letters are chalkboard stickers from Jenni Bowlin, and some charms (I love charms). Yea, I think that's about it. I want to thank everyone who uses an eksra minute to leave a comment. I always smile when I see that you have left a new comment. Thanks! Wow, just found out that this layout is chosen to be the Layout Of The Day at the ScrapInStyle blog. Thanks! Ey!! I wont the One Little Word challenge with this layout. Just look here. :) Thanks a lot for choosing my layout, I'm very honoured.

My first publication

I made this a while ago, but I could not show it to you because it has been published in Vi Scrapper which is a Norwegian Scrapbooking Magazin. It is in fact my first publication.
Supplies: Paper from Basic Grey - Scarlet's letter - In the forest, Making Memories - Hillary Artisan Blue Die-Cut. I've used embellishment from Melissa Frances, Prima and som other which i don't know the name of. I've made the letters on the computer myself. The fonts name is 1942 Report. And then I just drew some lines on in paint.
I started by putting the Basic Grey paper on top of the Making Memories paper. Then I made stitches around the whole MM-paper and cut of the BG paper which was outside the MM paper. The flourish is cut out from the silhouette.
Thanks for visiting my blog, please leave a comment so that I can visit yours.

A different kind of layout from me

I made this for a new article at ScrappeHuset. It's a new kind of article where we choose a product and tell a little bit about it. For the first "product of the month" article, we chose American Crafts' thickers. Well known among scrapbookers all around the world and it's not without a reason. The are very adaptable to everything as they are to find in all kind of shapes and colours, and in different materials aswell. You can buy the in almost every store. It was actually fun to make something non-vintage. :)
